Community Outreach and Education (COE) works to distribute information and increase access to services for families of young children as well as raise awareness regarding the value of high-quality early care and education. Outreach efforts also seek to strengthen connections with businesses, civic organizations, faith communities and individuals regarding the importance of early childhood services and the benefits that accrue to our entire Wake County community. We host an annual Faith Breakfast and facilitate a Business Circle. COE also creates and shares informational materials and newsletters and maintains the Wake County SmartStart website.
