Our New Definition of High Quality

The language we use to describe our work in early childhood education can be a powerful driver of positive systemic change. In the absence of a common set of terms and definitions, individual agencies can have differing perspectives on the scope and intensity of the services each delivers, despite sharing a strong commitment to advancing investments in early childhood care and education.

But when agencies share the same vision for young children and a common language that defines excellence, goals and successes are measured with the same yardstick, work is more efficient and goals more achievable.
