Wake County SmartStart is working to make sure our county serves the needs of young children.  Through training workshops and advocacy, Wake County SmartStart is educating our community about the many needs of young children.

Get involved. Become an advocate for young children!  By writing, calling, emailing or visiting your elected officials, you cna demonstrate support for young children's issues.

Wake County SmartStart has organized a group of community advocates specifically interested in advocating for the needs of young children in Wake County called Champions for  Children.  As a Champion for Children, you would receive regular updates about legislation being considered in the North Carolina General Assembly that would affect you ng children and families.  To find out more about this advocacy opportunity, sign up for Champions for Children.
